I recently spent a good Christmas at Pensiunea Valurile Bistritei, just a stone's throw from amazing Vatra Dornei. The warm welcome drink and cozy atmosphere immediately made us feel at home, especially after a day of skiing that the region is famous for. Our room, complete with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden, was both comfortable and charming-ideal for unwinding with a cup of tea while enjoying the serene snowy views. The à la carte breakfast was a standout; each morning we indulged in local delights that definitely fueled our explorations. If you find joy in rich history and stunning landscapes like I do, this guesthouse offers a perfect blend of both!
